axie on iOS and web browsers
If you use an iPhone, iPad, or prefer not to download an APK, axie is fully accessible through Safari, Chrome, or any modern browser. Open axie.best, log in, and you have instant access to football markets, live-dealer tables, and slot games without installation. Your account, deposit balance, and betting history sync automatically across all devices—browser to browser, browser to Android app, and vice versa. On iOS, you can add axie to your home screen by tapping Share > Add to Home Screen, which gives you a shortcut that feels like a native app but runs in your browser.
The browser experience is identical to our Android app in terms of functionality. You can deposit via DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, or bank virtual accounts with the same security and speed. Live-dealer tables stream smoothly, slot games load instantly, and football markets update in real time. The only difference is that browser sessions are stored locally on your device, whereas our Android app can send push notifications to alert you about upcoming matches, settlements, or promotions.
App vs browser: key differences
We recommend the Android APK for the best experience, but the browser version is equally secure and fast. The Android app offers offline caching, meaning some game content and account data pre-load so the interface remains responsive even on slow connections. Push notifications alert you to Liga 1 fixtures, Piala AFF draws, Champions League results, or new promotions without needing to open the app. The app also stores your login session more securely, encrypting your password locally so you do not need to re-enter it each time.
The browser version has no file size, requires no installation, and works identically on any device with internet access. Updates are instant—you always use the latest version of axie without waiting for app-store approvals. Browser storage is managed by your device's settings, and you can clear cookies and cache manually if desired. Both paths use the same encrypted TLS connection for all data, the same KYC verification workflow, and the same withdrawal processing through mobile banking, local payment, online payment, and other payment providers.
axie syncs your account across all platforms
You log in from Android, iOS, or web and see the same account, balance, and betting history. Deposits and withdrawals process identically on all platforms, and your verification status carries across devices.
Device compatibility and requirements
We at axie support a wide range of devices. Android devices running version 7.0 or later are compatible with our APK. iOS devices running version 12.0 or later can access axie through Safari or Chrome. Older devices may experience slower loading or missing features, but we prioritise compatibility with devices released in the last five years. Desktop computers running Windows, macOS, or Linux can access axie through any modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
For the best experience, we recommend devices with at least 2 GB of RAM and a stable internet connection (4G mobile or WiFi). Our app and website are optimised for screens as small as 4.5 inches and as large as 27 inches, so whether you use a compact smartphone or a desktop monitor, axie adapts to your display.
Troubleshooting common install issues
If your Android device shows "Unknown source" errors or refuses to install the APK, ensure you have enabled "Unknown Sources" in Settings > Security. On some devices, this setting is called "Install unknown apps" and is located per-app in Apps & Notifications settings. If your download stalls, check your internet connection and try again from a WiFi network.
If you see a certificate warning in your browser, it may indicate a network interception or a device security setting. Ensure you are visiting axie.best (not a misspelled URL) and that your device's date and time are correct—clock skew can trigger certificate errors. If the app crashes on launch, try clearing your app cache by going to Settings > Apps > axie > Storage > Clear Cache, then restart the app. If issues persist, contact our support team via the Help Center in-app or on axie.best.
Data, permissions, and account security on axie
When you install the axie Android app, you grant permissions to access your device's internet connection. The app does not request access to your photos, contacts, calendar, or microphone. Permissions are minimal and necessary only for axie to function. All data sent between your device and our servers is encrypted using TLS, the same standard used by banks and payment processors.
Your account credentials (username and password) are never stored in plain text on your device or our servers. Your payment information (e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, or bank details) is tokenized—meaning we do not store full account numbers, only a secure token that payment processors can recognise. Your identity documents (used for KYC verification) are encrypted and kept separate from your account data. If you are concerned about privacy, read our Privacy Policy for full details on how axie handles your data.
